The Inmarsat Pre-Paid Airtime Recharge allows you to top up an existing Inmarsat prepaid SIM with additional satellite call and SMS units. It is designed for users who already have an active Inmarsat prepaid service and need to extend validity or increase available usage.
Operating on the Inmarsat satellite network, this airtime provides dependable coverage across Australia and internationally, including offshore and remote land locations where standard mobile coverage is unavailable. Recharging your service ensures your satellite phone remains ready for travel, field work, marine operations, or emergency use.
With prepaid airtime, you control when and how much you spend. There are no ongoing monthly bills, and you can select a voucher amount and validity period that aligns with your expected usage. Units are deducted based on call type and message usage, with published rates outlined below.
This recharge is compatible with Inmarsat prepaid SIM cards supplied by SatPhone Shop and is delivered electronically via email for fast turnaround.

SMS: 0.6 units per message
Iridium: 12.7 units per minute
Other MSS Carriers: 8 units per minute
Inmarsat GAN / Fleet / Swift Voice: 5.6 units per minute
Calls are billed for the first 30 seconds, then in 15-second increments.
Prices are in AUD and include GST.
No activation fee applies.
Prepaid airtime applies to individual SIMs and cannot be shared.
Vouchers are valid from the date of redemption.
Unused units roll over if recharged before expiry. Unused units are forfeited once validity expires.
To check balance, dial *106# (free of charge).
Vouchers are issued electronically by email and are non-refundable once issued.
